Here, I want to talk about the different computers made from different manufacturers. Different companies do make the same kinds of computers, but people have their own opinion on which is better. I’m going to list the top 5 best computers that are being used by people everyday. Please keep in mind, the listing here will be at random, I won’t name the brands in order from best to least, I’m just making a list of the top 5. The reason, is that people’s opinions may change in the near future, based on the manufacturers who are improving their technology to better assist the masses.
The Apple Doesn’t Fall too Far From the Tree.
First, let’s talk about the company known as Apple Inc., no not the fruit. Apple has been around since 1976 and has been prospering ever since. I’m sure the founders, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne, never would’ve dreamed that their business would be a big success. It’s fascinating, considering that they all worked for Atari at some point in time when they were developing Apple, it really shows just how hard they worked to get their dream to where it is to this day. Interesting fact about Apple Inc., it was the first ever in early 2015 to be a $700 billion company.
As you all are aware of, throughout the years, Apple has made many devices that a majority of people use or have used at least once to this day. There is the iPhone, iPad, iMac, as well as different accessories that go with these products, like the Apple earphones, which some people like. The iPhone is the most common of Apple inc. products that people have come across, as it has up to 10 generations, minus iPhone 9 as it didn’t fit the fact that it has been 10 years since the iPhone was created. The iMac is also a product of Apple Inc., part of the all-in-one Macintosh family; it has been the primary desktop for the company, with it’s 7 distinct forms and improvements over the years. For example, the iMac 2017 is the current one, named the best so far out of the series.
“Must Recover, Need HP”
Next up for discussion is the information technology company HP. HP is short for Hewlett-Packard. The name is a combination of the founders, Stanford graduates William(Bill) Hewlett and David Packard last names. This company is an American multinational enterprise that was founded in 1939, predating the computer age. It is the largest IT company by far when it comes to annual revenue. Fun fact, did you know that HP actually began in a garage in Palo Alto, California, setting up the template for Silicon Valley start-ups?
Now let’s discuss the products produced by this company. HP has manufactured many products such as desktops, laptops, printers, speakers, tablets, the list can go on. I myself have an HP Pavilion laptop that works great; had it for over 4 years now and it still functions properly. From what I know, HP is #1 when it comes to printers, especially their inkjet ones. I’d go online and look up products from HP and see that they have some pretty amazing stuff, like that OMEN product they have.
Microsoft Opens Many Windows
Microsoft, now THIS is a company who knows how to provide great service. It’s a technology company that sells, manufactures, licenses, and supports computer software, personal computers, as well as a variety of services. One of those softwares, as we are all aware of, is Windows, which consists of several families of operating systems that people use almost everyday. Microsoft, in terms of revenue, places as the 6th largest information technology company, which is real good. This company was first conceived in 1975 in Albuquerque, New Mexico by Bill Gates, as well as his partner Paul Allen.
As you know, Microsoft has given us a very helpful software to help us when we need it: Microsoft Office. With Office, we are able to make PowerPoint for projects, write/type essays, even assist with payrolls and manage money, through my own experiences working in college. For console gamers, the Xbox series are a popular product of Microsoft and provide tons of entertainment for people of all ages. Many gamers out there love Xbox One and play vigorously online against other players; I for one play Smite and really rock with Mage type gods. Recently though, my attention has been towards Microsoft for their latest PC, the Surface series, especially Surface Studio. When I find out more, I’ll write a post about it, would love to have some intake from others about it, if they have already had experiences with it.
Get Digital With Dell
I haven’t used a Dell product in a while. Nothing wrong with it, just never really got around to getting one. Dell is a multinational computer company that sells, repairs, and manufactures PCs as well as other devices. Dell was conceived in Austin, Texas and now stations their headquarters in Round Rock, Texas. It’s founder was a man by the name of Michael S. Dell, who made and sold computers from his dorm room at University of Texas in 1984 when he was just 19 years old. Fascinating! This fact is one of the reasons I put Dell as part of the top 5 best computers manufacturers.
Dell first named his company PC’s Unlimited before he changed it to just Dell Inc. Today, Dell creates very functional PCs, their latest is the Dell XPS Tower Special Edition, from what I’ve read it’s said to be a gaming PC at heart. Alienware, named mostly for its productivity with gaming technology, is subsidiary to Dell. Most PCs are good for gaming, Alienware isn’t alone in the gaming category, but is said to be very powerful for full gaming experiences. I may not be one, as I am more of a console gamer, but PC gamers deserve nothing but the best, seems like Dell is answering the call.
Leave it to Lenovo
Lenovo is Chinese multinational and the third largest computer company right behind Dell and HP. It’s founder’s name is Liu Chuanzhi and remains the leader of the company to this day. Surprisingly, Lenovo was the first to sign up as a sponsor in Beijing during the Olympics in 2008. The company’s PC equipment was being used during the 2006 and 2008 Olympics and paid $65 million for the sponsorship. Lenovo is on Dell’s and HP’s trail in sales, and has been for a while.
I’ve used a couple of Lenovo’s devices before, and never had much trouble with it. The PCs give great displays with vibrant colors and decent audio. Honestly, I think Lenovo’s PCs are its greatest assets, since I don’t use their phones nor tablets. I checked out their latest model, the Yoga laptops, from what I’ve read as well as witnessed, it’s an all-in-one laptop that’s completely flexible and has high performance. It’s definitely something worth checking out, but that is for you to decide.
To be Concluded?
Looking back, I’ve listed, in my opinion, the top 5 best computers as well as their manufacturers. I figured giving a little of their history as well as a couple of interesting facts, would intrigue the readers. I’m sure there are some people who have different opinions about my listings. If so, I’d like to hear about it as well as the opinions of others. This is something I’m quite passionate about, so I’d love to discuss more about this with like-minded people and get their intake on what has been discussed on this post.
